Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day.............where do I even begin? I truly have the BEST mother there is. She has been my rock through thick and thin and that is why she is my best friend. I can only hope that when I have children.....I can be as great a mother as she is. It's funny because I was once told in middle school that I was not college material. That I just wasn't good enough. My mom was the only one who believed in me and knew what I was capable of. What better way to celebrate the love for my mom than to post a picture of us on my COLLEGE graduation day. It was a proud day for all of us...and especially her. It's certainly a day that I will never forget!
Thanks mom for all you do. You've have a huge hand in my success and I thank you for that. To you.....I dedicate this blog entry on your special day! I love you more than words can express.

And for the record my college graduation was December 17, 2006. My mom called the middle school the very next day to announce my graduation status and let them know that were wrong. A school should not be able to limit a child's future just because that child doesn't not meet the expectations of the school at that particular time. They're not always right and I'm proof of that! =)
